Carole Azra Symons is a university-trained medical herbalist and nutritionist with 27 years of clinical experience. She specialises in integrative and precision medicine, combining functional medicine, Endobiogenic Medicine, and nutrigenomics to address the root causes of illness and restore whole-body balance.

Carole is one of 200 clinicians worldwide trained in the use of the Opus23 genetic analytics suite, which—together with Endobiogeny—enables her to practise truly personalised medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include: Anti-ageing/disease prevention, coeliac and gluten-related disorders, food sensitivity and allergy, enhancing stress adaptation and energy, autoimmune recovery, weight optimisation, fertility challenges, digestive health, skin issues, hormonal and emotional balancing, and chronic complex conditions.

Endobiogenic Medicine is a unique integrative medical model that sees the human being as a dynamic ecosystem—one in which physiology, emotions, and external influences are deeply interconnected. Rooted in the work of French physician Dr. Christian Duraffourd, this approach uses detailed clinical history and mathematical modeling of lab work to assess and rebalance the body’s internal terrain. Rather than chasing symptoms or isolated diagnoses, Endobiogeny asks deeper questions: Why is this imbalance occurring? What is the terrain that gives rise to illness? In Carole’s practice, this means going beyond treating “low cortisol” or “high inflammation” and instead supporting the neuroendocrine drivers that govern those responses. Treatment is highly individualised and often centres around medicinal plants, lifestyle interventions, all chosen to support each person’s unique internal ecology. It’s a methodical yet intuitive approach that allows her to support not just the diagnosis, but the whole person behind it.

Her approach is deeply holistic, weaving together the physical and emotional aspects of health to guide clients toward lasting wellness. Carole offers compassionate, science-informed care that empowers each individual to heal and thrive.
