Iridology

Iridology is an ancient science that goes back to Hippocrates. In more recent times it has inspired medical research in Russia, Germany and Europe.

It is a unique’ form of diagnosis - by examining the iris of The eye, the iridologist is able to determine a person’s state of health and well being.

The iris is made up of thousands of nerve endings, all of which are connected to the brain via the nervous system. The neuro-optic reflexes in the iris react to certain changes in the body’s chemistry. These reactions are stored in predetermined areas of the iris - forming each individual’s own personal reference library.

The iridologist is able to determine a patient’s current state of health and can also detect weakness in the constitution which are taken into account when prescribing treatment.

Iridology acts as an early warning system which alerts the trained practitioner to the potential for certain diseases and the presence of often undetected chronic conditions.

Once the body begins to eliminate its accumulation of toxins and nutrients are able to be absorbed more efficiently there will be visible changes to the iris.
