Chua Ka Deep Tissue Massage

Chua Ka is a deep-tissue massage designed to release trapped pain and tension from the body and at the same time relieve the psyche of corresponding fears and preoccupations.

Pain in the body equals fear in the mind. Every pain, ache, tension even illness in the body is the stored memory of a fear or accumulation of fears. These fears are retained in the body as blocked vital energy. Fear is the mental history of pain in the body.

Chua Ka divides the body into specific areas called ‘zones of karma’. For example; tension in the feet reflects the fear of being oneself. In the calves; fear of action, in the knees; fear of death, and so on. Our face is a mirror of our fears, worry lines on the forehead, disappointment lines around the mouth.  No face is perfectly symmetrical. Stress and preoccupations in the mind create tension in the muscles which produce minor or major distortions in our features.

Using specific hand techniques, each part of the body is worked in a deliberate and conscious way - exterior and interior muscle tissue, bone tissue and ligament/tendon attachments. One session, for instance, may cover the feet or head or back. Practitioner and client work together to bring conscious any fear/pain trapped in areas being worked.

The result is a revitalised flow of energy throughout the body. Pain and stiffness disappear and are replaced by feelings of lightness, wholeness in the body, clarity in the head and happiness in our emotions.

Chua Ka helps to clarify the body and mind to meet the internal and external challenges of our daily lives. When we go into action with a painful body we carry all our past fears and avoidances.  To be effective, we need to be without fear, thus without pain.”
