Gastro Clinic
At the Gastro Clinic, we see many patients, who have been unable to find an answer to their long standing digestive problems. Our aim is to correctly diagnose the underlying problem by not only taking an extensive case history but also through cutting-edge non-invasive medical tests carried out in a medical laboratory.
There is a long tradition of Herbal Medicine use and now 21st Century Herbal Medicine is being underpinned by scientific research and, as such, is becoming increasingly popular. We now understand how an increasing number of medicinal plants interact with the human body at a cellular level. Apart from modern scientific research, there is well documented anecdotal evidence of Herbal Medicine’s efficacy over centuries.
Once diagnosed, a herbal prescription is formulated to meet each patient’s unique needs. We find that this approach works better than a one-size-fits-all approach. Nutrition is also assessed and advice is given.
Patients are expected, where appropriate, to have had a full medical investigation to rule out serious disease such as cancer. We achieve a high rate of clinical success based on our own outcome studies. Our work was recently featured in The Guardian.
The Gastro Clinic addresses the underlying problems and not just the symptoms.
