Ayurvedic Facial Treatments
Your facial prescription will be freshly prepared following a brief Ayurvedic analysis of your symptoms.
Using Ayurvedic facial mapping, tongue and pulse diagnosis; the Ayurvedic beauty consultant will hand select from a wide variety of herbs, spices, Ayurvedic oils and additional natural ingredients (from crushed rose petals and instantly picked aloe juice straight from the plant to neem, gotu kola, sandalwood and venivel and kokum pothu).
A unique, individually tailored prescription of active Ayurvedic herbal and fruit ingredients are applied to the face and neck, following a gentle and soothing Ayurvedic facial massage.
All facial formulas are hand blended with a selected base ingredient of milk, honey or gee (clarified butter), according to consultation. Clients can choose to have a unique blend, or simply select from the menu options designed by the Ayurvedic facial practitioner.

During treatment, specific Ayurvedic massage and energy healing techniques are applied, stimulating marma points by hand and/or by needle, expelling impurities from both mind and body.

The Ayurvedic Facial Massage offered at The Hale Clinic is based around the five senses; sight, sound, smell, touch and taste. Ayurveda understands that ‘overuse, underuse and abuse of the senses’, can be a root cause of disease. Thereby nurturing and treating the senses, which are located in the head-quarters, aid wellness and the prevention of stress and aging. A consultation begins the treatment to establish dosha balance. The treatment is then customised accordingly; the therapist will include massage of the facial marma points using pure natural oils relevant to the client’s constitution. All of the senses are addressed and nurtured to leave the client feeling revitalised and refreshed. Dietary and lifestyle advice will be given to compliment this gentle, fully complete facial massage treatment.
