Thomas Mueller
Raised in Germany, Thomas has lived throughout the world and found a way to incorporate both western and eastern philosophies in his own personal search for holistic wellness. His immersion in the concept of consciousness as the root to health and harmony has continually encouraged Thomas to advance his skills in the areas of the mind-body approach to well being.
Thomas has been teaching and practicing Ayurveda for the past 23 years throughout Europe, Japan, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and the United States. He trained under the Maharishi Organisation in Holland and then completed a three year full time Diploma in Ayurvedic Medicice at Wellpark College of Natural Therapies in New Zealand. His area of specialisation is pulse analysis and classical Pancha Karma.
He has also completed a Yoga Teacher training course with M.S. Vishwanatha, Patanjala Yoga Kendra, in Bangaluru, India. Thomas solidifies his understanding of Ayurveda through regular internships in India and taught pulse analysis to BAMS students at SDM College of Ayurveda, Hassan. He is also visiting faculty at Campus Naturalis in Germany. At present he is developing his own range of Ayurvedic skin care based on the principles of Ayurveda.
Travelling to clinics around the world has given Thomas a unique insight into the real and practical needs of the modern therapist, which in turn has enhanced the experience of his clients.

1) Ayurvedic Consultations
Ayurvedic consultations provide the key to prevention and wellbeing. The initial consultation offers an assessment of the Ayurvedic body type, the clients state of mental and emotional wellbeing by the use of traditional assessment methods such as observation, pulse and tongue analysis. Individually tailored programmes on lifestyle, nutrition and herbal formulas assist clients needs towards health maintenance and wellbeing.(Initial consulation, 90 mins; Follow up, 60 or 30 mins)
Ayurvedic Body Therapies and Panchakarma
Originally reserved for the royal families of India, a range of Ayurvedic therapies are offered by Thomas to help improve your wellbeing and provide you with an experience of complete revitalization of your body, mind and inner self.
2) Abhyanga
Traditional Ayurvedic whole body massage uses rhythmical movements in the massage strokes, to provide deep rest and relaxation, thus strengthening and revitalising the entire body. Ayurvedic massage supports lymphatic flow, immunity and cleansing. (60 or 90 mins)
3) Shiroabhyanga
Traditional Ayurvedic head massage relaxes and soothes the head, neck and shoulders, improving blood circulation to the scalp and nourishing hair and roots. Head massage helps promote sound sleep, clarity and removes tension. (60 mins)
4) Pristhabhyanga
Ayurvedic back massage, a muscle-relaxing and revitalising treatment to help relieve backache and release tensions and strains. (60 mins)
5) Padabhyanga
Ayurvedic foot massage, a highly relaxing treatment that focuses on the area between the knees to the feet to revitalise tired feet and legs. (60 mins)
6) Mukhabhyanga
Ayurvedic face-lift, which provides an anti-ageing facial that tones the skin and stimulates circulation and lymphatic flow, thereby promoting a healthy complexion and regeneration of a younger looking skin. (60 mins)
7) Marma Therapy
Subtle therapy to stimulate vital points of the body, which is based on the evaluation of the pulse of the client. Specific essential oils are selected and gently applied to Ayurvedic marma points – the junction points between consciousness and physiology. This therapy works from the subtle body and may help to address emotional imbalances that have manifested physically. (90 mins)
8) Vishesha
This massage is a special, deep tissue therapy, which removes blockages and stimulates lymphatic flow. It soothes those deeper muscular aches and pains, removes stiffness and sluggishness. Vishesha massage is highly refreshing and energizing. (90 mins)
9) Garshana
The use of silk gloves in this massage creates gentle friction, which can lead to an increased blood and lymphatic circulation, thereby helping to oxygenate cells and stimulate the removal of accumulated toxins. Garshana also breaks down fat deposits, it cleanses and exfoliates the skin and may help in reducing cellulite and assist in normalizing weight. (60 mins)
10) Shirodhara
In this treatment a stream of warm oil is poured over the forehead to soothe and deeply relax the nervous system, thus helping to improve the quality of sleep, plus reduce stress and anxiety. (60 mins)
11) Nasya
In Ayurveda the nose is considered the gateway to the head. Nasal administration of medicated oil in this therapy, gently and deeply clears nasal and sinus passages, which can help with improved sensory perception, clearer thinking and memory. It may also help in reducing the risk of respiratory allergies and migraines. (90 mins)
12) Netra Basti
The entire eye area is bathed in ghee, which nourishes the eyes, and is useful to relieve burning sensation and eyestrain. It may be useful in improving vision, irritated and tired eyes especially after working on a computer. (60 mins)
13) Kati Basti
A dam made from dough is placed on a specific area of the back, depending on the needs of the client. Warm oil is then poured into the dam where it remains to deeply nourish the affected area. Kati Basti maybe supportive in addressing chronic back pain, it also provides a soothing and relaxing experience for the whole body. (60 mins)
14) Yoga and Meditation
This service includes practical techniques to enhance the benefit of Ayurvedic therapies and helps managing stress. This is essential for optimising the effect of any therapy. (90 mins)
All treatment times include a brief resting period, which is essential for these therapies.Due to the nature of room allocation it is essential that clients adhere to the appointment booked to ensure enough time for individual treatments.
