Glen Matten
Glen trained in Nutritional Therapy at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION), graduating in 2001. He has been in clinical practice for 9 years both in Norwich, and more recently at the Hale Clinic in London. He has a particular interest in nutritional medicine and collaborates at the Hale Clinic with Functional Medicine expert Dr Georges Mouton, offering individualised dietary advice to his patients. Glen is also currently studying for an MSc in Nutritional Medicine at the University of Surrey.
Glen works with clients with a diverse range of conditions and believes in the importance of taking an individualised approach to their health, seeking to treat the underlying causes of health problems, rather than just the symptoms. As a result, Glen provides his clients with comprehensive and highly personalised nutritional programmes.
In addition to his clinical practice, Glen teaches and lectures for a number of colleges, including BCNH, where he has tutored and lectured for the past 8 years, along with delivering nutrition lectures across all 4 years of study at the Homeopathic College of East Anglia.
Whilst his main interest remains using Nutritional Therapy to improve the health of his clients, Glen has also featured widely in the media, with forays into television and radio, alongside writing for a number of publications. Glen’s first book The 100 Foods You Should Be Eating was published this year.
