Dr Alice Almeida

Alice Almeida is a native of Brazil. She trained as a medical doctor in Rio de Janeiro in the 1980's, and from early on in her practice she became increasingly conscious of treating the patient as a whole.

That was the foundation for her shift towards a holistic approach to healthcare, which she would seek to develop and implement from then on in her career. She lived for several years in the United States and then moved to the UK in the early 90’s, training at the College of Vibrational Medicine, where she developed her techniques in Gaia Healing, as well as her knowledge of flower, gem and crystal essences. In early 2000 she began working with the crystal light bed, which she incorporated into her therapy in 2005.

Alice has a unique healing approach which is founded on her training and experience in both orthodox and holistic medicine, and which incorporates not only hands-on healing and the use of essences, but also the powerful healing action of the crystal light bed. She treats a number of conditions ranging from specific organ diseases to cancer, from physical injuries to depression, both at the Hale Clinic and in hospitals. Her clients range from the new-born to the elderly, from well known personalities to people from all walks of life. In each case, Alice works on the client’s energetic status and flow; releasing blocks and addressing imbalances, in order to cleanse, balance and energize.

Alice features in the BBC documentary “I Believe In“ with Jodi Kidd, and took part in a Channel 4 television series with Richard Dawkins She has featured in National publications including Soul and Spirit, Elle magazine, Red magazine and The Kindred Spirit.
