Chitra Ramgoolam
Chitra Ramgoolam acquired massage skills from an early age, and soon realised that she possessed remarkable dexterity for therapeutic touch.
Chitra trained with a Master of bodywork in India, Mr B Chawdhry, specialising in techniques such as Indian Head Massage and Deep abdominal work. She later trained in the UK as a massage therapist under the guidance of Clare Maxwell Hudson. Consequently, her natural skills as a bodyworker, combined with her passion for health and wellbeing, led her to train in the disciplines of: Reflexology, Chinese Dietary medicine, Craniosacral Therapy and Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
Chitra’s treatment session can be a specific discipline for a specific condition; to a knowledgeable experience based on an intuitive assessment of what best suits the client. Chitra is also trained in Mindfulness based techniques, various healing methods, Meditation, Vedic Astrology, Vastu and 16 guidances to a happy life. Her personal and spiritual well-being, and ethical values are paramount in her ability and credibility as a professional health and wellbeing consultant.
Chitra has taught Craniosacral Therapy at The Craniosacral Institute and at The College of Craniosacral Therapy. As a therapist, she has a high reputation for her skills and sensitivity within the service of palliative care.
