Provision of Service
This Website is provided free of charge on an "as is" basis. You will not require a password to access it.
Unsolicited Communication
We will not transmit to you any unsolicited communication whether by electronic mail or any other means unless you have expressly agreed to receiving such communication at the time of making an appointment. You may also opt-out of receiving email communications from The Hale Clinic at any later time.
Site Security
At The Hale Clinic Group we are extremely aware of the importance of privacy and security throughout our Website and our Database. We issue passwords only to bona fide health professionals and authorised staff members. We check all applications for authenticity and periodic spot checks are made. Access to our Database is by password only. The site and data are hosted on our own servers. No unauthorised person has access to the machines or the software.
Third Party Communication
Your personal information will not be given or sold to any third parties for use in direct mail or any other activities, other than to selected third parties providing specialist administrative services to The Hale Clinic Group, acting as agents on our behalf and with no rights to use your email address for any purpose whatsoever except on our behalf as allowed under these Terms and Conditions. Other user details may only be made available to third parties for certain specified purposes, in accordance with our Data Protection Act 1998 registration and you will always be given the opportunity to prevent The Hale Clinic from sharing any personally identifiable data about your use of the Website with third parties.
Privacy of Your Personal Data
The Hale Clinic is the data processor of your personal details for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998. The therapist providing you the treatment is the data controller. We may collect the following types of information about you, on behalf of our therapists:
- information you provide at registration or by subsequently changing your registered detailed
- details of your visits to the site and treatments that are provided to you.
These personal details may be used by us to:
- administer our patient records
- make available to you educational and promotional information that may interest you
- notify you about changes to our service.
Our internal working practices also ensure your privacy is protected by limiting employee access to the data.
Your Obligations
- The information that you supply to us for the purpose of registration is true and correct.
- To provide at least 24 hours notice of any change or cancellation to an existing booking otherwise you may be subject to a cancellation fee, at the discretion of the therapist.
- You are permitted to print or download some of the material or information displayed on the Website for your personal use, but you may not republish any substantial part of the data in any form without our prior written permission. You acknowledge that the printing or downloading of some of the sections of the Website is strictly prohibited and you are referred to the individual copyright statements displayed on such sections.
- Your postings to the Website and communications with other users will not infringe any third parties' copyright or other intellectual property rights.
Right to Amend These Terms
We reserve the right to add to and change the terms of this agreement at any time.
Disclaimer
We do not act as agents for and can give no assurances with regard to the persons, companies and other organisations whose goods and services are displayed or referred to on the Website, nor with regard to the availability, suitability, fitness for purpose or prices of such goods or services. We do not endorse or recommend any of theses goods or services and no liability is accepted by us in this respect.

In particular, you recognise that the information and material contained in the Website is to be used only as a reference aid and is not intended to be a substitute for the exercise of your own professional judgement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties. For the avoidance of doubt we do not limit our liability for death or personal injury where the same arises as a result of our negligence.

Notwithstanding this, in accessing the information, visitors to the site agree to waive any claim, demand, lien, action, suit or cause of action arising from the use of the information, which they now have or may have in the future against The Hale Clinic.
Applicable Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of which countries the parties agree to submit.
