Anita is a qualified Senior Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioner, Master of Medical Qigong Therapy (Chinese Energetic Therapy) and Principal Teacher at the prestigious UK College of Medical Qigong. Anita is a perfectionist who is honest, has the highest ethical standards and is driven by results.
Renowned for her knowledge and innovative style; she engages creative and effective methods in her approach to: menopause, pain, migraine, neurological conditions and sports injuries to name but a few. Anita specialises in Fertility and Women’s Health, having outstanding success, especially with women experiencing miscarriage.
With over 30 years’ experience in healthcare; her innovative nature and pioneering spirit has won her personal and professional acclaim. She won a prestigious National Award from the London Innovation Centre, for ‘Positively Changing Lives.’ In addition she has been awarded the ATCM prize for ‘Excellence in Traditional Chinese Medicine.’ Her case studies have been published and her Systematic Review on Parkinson’s Disease inspired patients and NHS specialists alike. Anita’s passion to share her knowledge and improve the lives of her patients is constantly recognised by the partnerships she forges.
Anita studied at Glyndwr University (UK) and graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Chinese Medicine. She is a member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. From a young age, Anita began her study of the Chinese Internal Arts at the British T’ai Chi Association in London. Later she became a student of Professor Jerry Alan Johnson at the International Institute of Medical Qigong (USA) and Dr Bernard Shannon at the highly acclaimed International College of Medical Qigong (USA). After years of rigorous study to learn and perfect numerous Medical Qigong Therapy Protocols, she received her Master of Medical Qigong qualification. Teachings were based upon the curriculum of the Medical Qigong College at Hai Dian University, established clinically at the Xi Yuan Medical Qigong Hospital in Beijing, China. In short, this Chinese Energetic Therapy system is based on efficacy.
